Truss to wall connection in Windsor Co. home

ASHI inspector found this L-bracket w/slot connecting wall to truss during an inspection in Windsor Co. After asking what this was for the inspector found out that the trusses had a problem with truss uplift and theses were added at all connections to stop trusses from lifting walls.
