Qualifications
Home inspectors are not code inspectors and we do not inspect for code violations during a routine home inspection. However, we should understand that there are international building standards with which common building practices are designed to comply. And knowing these standards are a necessity in a complete home inspection. Because Aaron has been in the housing business for over 35 years in the areas of Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Estes Park, Cheyenne, Laramie, Douglas, Boulder County, Weld County, Larimer County and he knows the IRC building codes and is always trying to stay updated on the new building codes that come out periodically. He has worked as a skilled craftsman putting together many of the components which make up a home. He has built new homes in town as well as rural projects, and completed residential, commercial remodeling, and restoration projects on old homes and historical buildings as well. He has been a general contractor working with the subcontractors who helped build his projects. He has worked with city, county, and state officials to make sure his clients ended up with the best product available. Combine this with the knowledge learned from continuing education requirements of both ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). Then you add training from ITA/Kaplan (Inspection Training Associates/Kaplan Schools) and Aaron would be a good choice to do your inspection.
